The Powershred® LX85 Cross-Cut Shredder is a reliable desk side shredder for personal use. It's elevated and sophisticated design brings distinction to any work or home office environment. The patented SafeSense Technology feature automatically stops the machine from shredding if hands or paws touch the paper entry, providing superior protection and peace of mind. The LX85 shreds 12 sheets per pass into 5 /32" x 1 9/16" cross-cut particles (Security Level P-4) and safely shreds staples, paper clips, plastic credit cards, and unopened junk mail. Its convenient, 5 gallon pull-out waste bin holds over 250 shredded sheets. Designed for individual use, the LX85 shreds for up to 20 minutes before a 30 minute cool down period is needed.
